An advert will be moved into the archive after it has expired or has been deleted from all the boards it was posted to.
Adverts will move from the live jobs list into the archive when they:
1. Have expired from all the boards they have been posted to
2. Have been deleted from all the boards they have been posted to
3. A combination of the above
4. When manually archived
Adverts that expire or have been deleted (1-3) will not immediately move into the archive. The archiving process runs at the end of each day. This allows the user time to resend any adverts without having to skip between the live and archive lists.
Adverts in the archive effectively constitute a library of job templates which can be reworked and resent at any time. Broadbean do not delete any adverts from your archive, so you can find a job that is several months old and either resend it without changes, or use it as a template for a new advert.
Adverts can also be manually archived when in the manage adverts list.
How to archive a single advert
Click on the tick box in line with the job you wish to archive and click the archive button. You cannot archive an individual job board advert, only the single job posting as a whole.
How to archive multiple adverts
Click up to 10 boxes and click the archive button. You cannot archive an individual job board advert, only job postings in their entirety.
Manually archived adverts will be sent to the archive immediately. This removes the job from the live jobs list, but does not change the status.
How to un-archive adverts
To unarchive an advert that has been manually archived (and is still live on at least 1 board), select the archived adverts tab then click the tick box in line with the job and click the unarchive button.
