How to add a new Job Board Suscription

Please note: this can only be done at Admin level.

How to add a new job board subscription
1. In the Job Board tab search for the job board you wish to activate by either typing the name of the board in the free text search box or click on the ‘Inactive’ list and scroll down the list of sites.

2. Click the Account Details button of your chosen job board.

3. You can activate a job board on a companywide, office, team and user level. To do this click on the boxes in the activate column next to the level which needs access to the board (to see individual users click on the team name and the section will expand). The job board credentials you save can be different for each office, team and user which will have access to the site.

4. If you activate the site on the company level you need to enter the job board credentials in the fields provided on company row only. This is the same process if you wish to activate the board on different company levels (office, team and user); click in the activate box to the left of the level you require and enter the applicable subscription details. Please ensure you check for and remove any spaces from the end or start of the credentials as these can cause adverts to fail.

5. Whilst in this section you can restrict users from posting to a particular board, and this can be managed at an office, team and user level. Just click the boxes in the Restricted column next to the level you wish to be restricted from posting to the job board. If a user is restricted they will not see the job board listed on Step 1: Choose Job Boards.

6. Finally click save at the bottom of the page.

Note: The type of credentials will vary depending on the site you activate (i.e. username and password, client ID etc).  If the job board has provided you with a username and password and our system requires you to enter a different type of credential i.e. client ID then you must obtain this from the job board directly. If the incorrect details are entered your adverts will fail to load onto the job boards.

Registering with Free Job Boards
If you wish to post to a job board which is listed as ‘Free’ on AdCourier you will still need to register with the site directly. Once you have done this you can activate the job board.

Why there may not be a subscription field when activating a job board
If when activating a job board there aren’t any subscription fields to complete (i.e. username and password fields) we will send the Company Name stored in the Account Details section under the Settings tab. This is why it is important that the Account Details section is always completed.
